Panic or reality?

Global warming is already under way. The evidence is vast and the urgency of taking action becomes clearer with every new scientific study. Some of the most obvious signs are visible in the Arctic, where rising temperatures and melting ice are dramatically changing the region’s unique landscapes and wildlife—as well as people’s lives and livelihoods. Across the globe, other early warning signs include melting glaciers, shifting ranges of plants and animals, and the earlier onset of spring.

Unit 9, Alternative travel

We're going to have a different holiday with my family this summer. We are going to spend ten days on the Estariti, Spain and  do our favourite activites.

First we're going to camp for four days. We're going to sleep in a big house and cook delicious food on the camp fire. We're going to watch TV and go to de shopping. We are going to spend some time together and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Then we are going to an exciting sports park for two days. I'm going to surf and my brother is going to kitesurf. My mum is going to join a "wild and active" club so she can walk and go bird watching. MY dad is going to sail.

After four days of activity we are going to go back to the campsite and relax before going home.

I'm really looking forward to oour special holiday.

Unit 6, City life

My name is Cèlia Romans and this is my personal blog.

I'm fifteen years old and I live in Banyoles, Catalunya. I go to Escola Casa Nostra. I normally play music, dance and swim. I do usually play sports.

I 'm in Camprodon now, my friend, Patricia. She lives in Camprodon, Catalunya with ther family. They are great. They take me to a diffrent place every day.

At moment Patricia is doing ther homework. Patricia's brother is watching a TV. Her mum and dad are cooking dinner. And I'm writing this blog.

Am I missing home? No! bye for now.

Unit 3, Work and play

On Saturdays I go shopping or I go to parties with friends.
I usually go to music parties because they are fun. My friends and I wear cool clothers and listen to DJs. I do go to discos. I like parties with friends.

On Saturdays I swiming in the pool in the morning. In the afternoon some of my friends go to the city centre. I go to my friend Carla's house and we do our homework and listen to music. Then we play the piano and sing. It's a lot of fun.

Unit 8, Great moments

Las summer I went scuba diving with my brothers. My parents took us to the Estartit, in Spain.

First we dived in a big swimming pool. I was very nervios, but after the first lesson I wasn't scared at all. Then we ahd three more lessions, and finally we dived in the sea. It was amazing! There were lots of beautiful fish. We even saw a shark, but is wasn't a very big one!

I was a very cool experience, and i was really happy. Now I want togo suba diving all the time!
